This original sketch is what i have developed to the final model.
Perspective view
This model has been developed with landscape. It has been changed a little bit from the original design. I have used in the Art gallery for Top: Malangi (Beauty) and Bottom: Mueck (Lonely). The building has a different atmosphere of Malangi and Mueck but I tried to create a relationship between ground level and underground level. Materials have a great potential in my model, therefore I could express the building with beautiful materials practically. I believe that the best materials to achieve natural light in my building are translucent channel glass.
Cross section showing the top gallery.
Asymmetric columns show that building has a stability between floor and floor.
Cross section showing the underground gallery.
This space is used for Mueck's artwork. it has a different level. one divided horizontally and split level. The sphere stair connects to the ground level and underground level.
The colour and texture of the wall quite harmonizes with the Mueck's artwork.
There are two stairs that connect to upper ground and underground.
There are two kinds of materials that I have used on the model such as channel glass which is the major exterior material of my building and concrete used on the stairs and floors and three custom textures(sharp, grainy and reflective)
My building has been used these three custom textures to emphasize the artist's spaces.
1. SHARP
2. REFLECTIVE
